This morning:
Elizabeth: "Mom. I had a dream last night."
Me: "Really sweetie, what did you dream about?"
E: "I dreamed that I married another man."
(I don't know who the first man would be.)
Me: "You did?" (stifling a chuckle)
E: "Yes, and I wore a pretty dress and he wore his tights and we danced together."
Me: "What was the man's name?"
E: "Codia, the third."
Me: (Trying not to laugh uncontrollably) "What was he like?"
E: "He was nice, but then he left me and I had to dance with another man in the closet. He moved to Carolina street and I have never seen him again. I really miss Codia, I think we need to pray for him."
Me: "Sure honey, if you think so."
E: "Okay, you make sure everyone keeps their eyes closed, okay Mom?"
I LOVE being a mom.
