More is required

I'm having trouble thinking of something noteworthy to blog about lately. I mean, I think of posts, sit down to write and then......nothing.

I'll be honest it's hard to wrap my mind around words lately. Mostly because not everyone in our life is thrilled about us going to Africa. And it weighs on me. Heavily.

BUT.

Then I read posts like this one by my friend Tracy and I just can't sit and say nothing. Seriously. Click here right now and read it.

I'll wait on you.

Staggering isn't it?

That is 4,333 Elizabeths

4,333 Lucases

4,333 Ashlees

4,333 Aarons

4,333 Olivias

4,333 Ellas

Combined. Dying. Each and every day.

From PREVENTABLE diseases.

For us, taking hope to the world looks like moving to Africa, partnering with nationals and teaching them of the saving power of Jesus Christ and empowering them to make life changes for their families and for their communities.

What does hope look like to you? How will you respond?

When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required.
